Welcome to the Seventh-day Adventist Carolina Teacher of Excellence
Pilot Program
The North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist Education Office developed a document called "Journey 2 Excellence" outlining Adventist Education for the 21st century. The Southern Union Conference Education Office, an entity of the North American Division, responded to the document by developing an action plan for implementing "Journey 2 Excellence". The action plan is called "Adventist EDGE". The "Adventist EDGE" initiative has two major components, EDGE Schools of Excellence and EDGE Teachers of Excellence.
This website provides information for developing and piloting a program for developing EDGE Teachers of Excellence with in the Carolina Conference Education Office. The Carolina Conference is one of eight conferences within the Southern Union Conference.
